Welcome to Magnolia Gift Boxes. By purchasing from our website, submitting a custom or corporate order, or engaging with our products or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General
Magnolia Gift Boxes (“we”, “us”, “our”) offers curated gift boxes, custom corporate gifting services, and related products. All purchases made through our website or through direct communication with our team are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version posted at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.
2. Product Availability & Substitutions
Many of our products are sourced from small-batch artisans and specialty makers.
As a result:
- Product availability may vary
- From time to time, minor substitutions of equal or greater value may occur
- Substitutions will always match the theme, style, and quality of the original product listing
We make every effort to keep product listings up to date and accurate.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in CAD unless otherwise indicated.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
For corporate and bulk gifting, pricing may vary based on volume, branding, customization, and availability.
4. Payment
We accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods available at checkout.
Payment is required in full at the time of purchase unless a corporate invoice arrangement has been approved in writing.
5. Shipping Policy
Order Processing
- Standard orders process within 1–3 business days
- Peak season or promotional periods may take 3–7 business days
- Large, branded, or corporate orders require additional lead time
Shipping Methods
We offer:
- Local courier delivery (Vancouver / Lower Mainland)
- Canada-wide shipping
- U.S. shipping
- Expedited/express options where available
We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Destination
- Weight & dimensions
- Shipping method
U.S. shipments include prepaid duties & taxes to prevent recipient charges.
U.S. Duties, Taxes & Customs
Due to the Aug 29, 2025 removal of the U.S. $800 de minimis exemption:
- All U.S. shipments must undergo customs clearance
- All U.S. shipments are subject to duties & taxes regardless of value
- Magnolia Gift Boxes pre-pays these fees to avoid recipient billing
- Our U.S. shipping fee reflects these government-mandated charges
Delivery Times & Delays
Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Magnolia Gift Boxes is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather
- Customs inspection
- Courier network disruptions
- Peak-season volume
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Once a package is handed to the carrier, it is outside our control.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is:
- Refused by the recipient
- Returned due to incorrect or incomplete address
- Unable to be delivered
The customer is responsible for reshipping fees.
6. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of curated gift boxes and food items:
All sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges.
This includes:
- Ready-made gift boxes
- Food items
- Personal-use items
- Custom or branded corporate orders
7. Unauthorized & International Returns
To protect product integrity and comply with customs and food safety regulations:
- Returns without prior written authorization will not be accepted
- We do not accept international returns (e.g., U.S. → Canada)
- Unauthorized shipments may be refused or returned to sender
- Customers are responsible for any return shipping fees, duties, or charges incurred without authorization
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the issue
- We will replace the damaged item(s) or provide a refund for the affected item(s) only
This policy does not apply to carrier delays.
9. Order Cancellation
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours if they have not shipped
- Once an order ships, it cannot be cancelled or refunded
- Custom, branded, or corporate orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun
10. Corporate Orders & Custom Projects
Corporate and custom orders may require:
- Minimum quantities
- Additional lead time
- Custom branding approvals
- Non-refundable deposits
These terms will be outlined in written proposals or invoices.
11. Product Photos & Styling
Images on our website and social media represent the style, quality, and aesthetic of our gift boxes.
However, some items may appear slightly different due to:
- Artisan variations
- Batch differences
- Packaging updates
12. Limitation of Liability
Magnolia Gift Boxes is not liable for:
- Delays caused by carriers
- Loss or theft after delivery is confirmed
- Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Customs delays or assessments
- Customer refusal of packages
Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
13. Privacy & Data
Customer information is used solely for:
- Fulfilling orders
- Customer communication
- Marketing (if consented)
We do not sell or share personal information with third parties outside of operational necessity (shipping carriers, couriers, payment processors).
